Lying on the Great Médoc Châteaux Route in the Bordeaux region, Château du Cartillon can be found near the village of Lamarque. Built at the very heart of the Haut-Médoc Appellation, the 55-hectare estate is next to some prestigious representatives of the appellation. Château du Cartillon is no exception and enjoys a coveted terroir that provides ideal conditions for cultivating vines, conducive to the birth of great wines.

The oldest vines are grown in green cover, the youngest in ploughed rows. These vines are sustainably cultivated, which means limiting human intervention to the strictly necessary.
