Our exclusive range, representing more than just partnerships.

Crus et Domaines de France has built up lasting partnerships with winegrowers, and proposes an exhaustive selection of wines.

Ours expertise and experience of the vineyards allows us to select the terroirs and plots offering the best quality grapes, to blend wines which are typical of each appellation, with a more modern profile.

Our technical team is involved at every stage of the wine-making process, from the vine to the bottle. Our selection of wines, many of them being award winners in international competitions, includes a wide portion that bears environmental certification.

Our technical team is constantly on the lookout for new gems, in order to guarantee its customers a range of products that meets their expectations.

OUR ESTATES

Our estates, our link to the terroir

Our estates cover 917 hectares of vines, 24 Châteaux and are the perfect reflection of our values. We are committed to obtaining HVE3 (High Environmental Value) certification for all our terroirs.

This approach allows us to adopt more environmentally responsible practices, such as planting hedges around our vineyards to boost biodiversity. Farm waste is also recycled appropriately.

We are also ISO 14001 certified through the Système de Management Environnemental association (SME) for Bordeaux wines, an approach that allows us to protect the environment and respond to climate change, whilst also taking in account the social and economic needs.

OUR GRANDS CRUS CLASSÉS AND EQUIVALENTS

Bordeaux par excellence

Crus et Domaines de France receives allocations of Grands Crus Classés, and offers a wide selection of vintages from the very best terroirs in the Bordeaux region. It provides its customers optimal storage conditions in terms of temperature and humidity.

Our exclusive Grands Crus

Our range is completed by a number of wines from partner Châteaux, distributed exclusively by Crus et Domaines de France.
These crus have been selected for the quality of their terroir and the values that govern their growing process.

Château Petit Faurie de Soutard

AOP SAINT-EMILION GRAND CRU

In 1850 this vineyard was separated from Château Soutard, from which it takes its name. Its history is linked with Faurie, the name of a place where there was a famous battle during the Hundred Years’ War. This 8 hectares property, is located on the unique Saint-Emilion limestone plateau, close to the medieval village. Since 2017, Château Petit Faurie de Soutard is the property of AG2R LA MONDIALE insurance group.

Château Yon Figeac

AOP SAINT-EMILION GRAND CRU

On a winding country road, just to the north-west of the village of Saint-Émilion, stands Château Yon-Figeac. Built in 1886, the château is a classic example of the region’s architectural style: a limestone house flanked by 24 hectares of vines. These extensive vineyards make Château Yon-Figeac one of the largest estates in the Saint-Émilion appellation.

Château Cadet Bon

AOP SAINT-EMILION GRAND CRU

Located just outside the village of Saint Emilion, Château Cadet Bon has produced wines that reflect the unique terroir since 1867. The southern facing and slightly sloped vineyard, which is ideal for soaking up the optimal amount of sunlight, occupies 7 hectares, 6 of which are on a sole plot. The vineyard reflects the classic Saint Emilion Way, composed of 80 percent merlot and 20 percent cabernet franc. The average age of the vines is 40 years.

Château La Patache

AOP POMEROL

In 2012, Peter Kwok and his son Howard acquired Château La Patache. The property is located in Pomerol at the locality la Patache and consists of 3.18 hectares spreading over nine plots. The plots are located on soils of a wide variety and complexity – soil composed of fine gravels with crasse de fer and clay in the subsoil. La Patache is a locality on the national road 89 (Bordeaux-Lyon), whose name evokes this kind of coaches which went there in ancient times. Indeed, in the nineteenth century, « les pataches » were horse carriages that served as stagecoach in the countryside. The locality La Patache in Pomerol can be found on the first Napoleonic maps. The original stone buildings were in fact a former post office at the entrance of Libourne. It is in the renovated stables that we installed a modern winery and cellars in 2012. The old post office building has been retrofited into a barrel cellar.

L’enclos des Domaines de Rothschild

AOP PUISSEGUIN SAINT-EMILION

In the 2000s, Benjamin de Rothschild (Edmond’s son) acquired 95 hectares of vines on the right bank of Bordeaux. With an ideal South facing, this single estate on two appellations: Montagne Saint-Emilion and Puisseguin Saint-Emilion is made from 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. “The Enclos” cuvée comes from a plot’s selection of Domaines Edmond de Rothschild in Puisseguin Saint-Emilion. This excellent limestone and clay soil provides its distinctive taste to the Merlot which is the main grape variety of Saint-Emilion.

Bienfaisance du Château Sanctus

AOP SAINT-EMILION GRAND CRU

Classified as a World Heritage Site, Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes, municipality of the Jurisdiction of Saint-Emilion, is located to the east of this city of mythical growth, on the heights of the hills of the Dordogne valley. Old houses make up a peaceful village surrounded by vineyards. In its centre, a 12th century Romanesque church registered in the Inventory of Historic Monuments. It’s near this jewel case of jewels of medieval architecture that Château Sanctus stretches its 15 hectares of Merlot and Cabernet Franc classified in the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation. Château Sanctus produces two Saint-Émilion Grand Cru wines that are distinguished by the choice of plots, the proportion of Cabernet Franc, a grape variety that “lengthens the wines”, and their ageing : Château Sanctus and La Bienfaisance of Château Sanctus.

Château de Lamarque

AOP MEDOC

Château de LAMARQUE is to be found in the village of Lamarque, between Margaux and Saint-Julien. It’s a medieval castle rich with history dating back one thousand years. It has belonged to the same family since Amadieu de Lamarque, in 1050! It is in the Haut-Médoc appellation. Château de Lamarque has been a Member of the Union de Grands Crus de Bordeaux since 1983, and within this highly prestigious association it may be considered to be associated with its highly renowned colleagues the “1855 Grands Crus Classés”.

Labastide Dauzac

AOP MEDOC

Château Dauzac, a Margaux ”Grand Cru Classé” according to the 1855 classification, has the privilege of having a one-block 49 hectares vineyard: 45 hectares with the Margaux appellation and 4 hectares with the Haut-Médoc appellation. Located near the Gironde estuary whose influence on the vineyard’s ecosystem is critical, the property is protected from ocean winds thanks to 120 hectares of meadows and forests.

Saint-Estèphe de Cos Labory

AOP SAINT-ESTEPHE

The name of the estate comes from its geographical location on the Cos hill and the name of François Labory, who was the first owner until 1845. Mr. d’Estournel then acquired it before selling it again to an English banker, Charles Martyns in 1852. The property was finally taken over by George Weber in the 1930’s, who bequeathed it to his daughter and son-in-law, François Audoy in 1959.
In 1971, the couple acquired the neighbouring estate, Château Andron Blanquet. Their sons worked with them on the two estates for a few years and then the elder Bernard took over the running of the properties. Bernard is a strong, practical manager with a quiet reassuring manner. He has always lived in Saint-Estèphe and is perfectly emblematic of his estate, his wines and the appellation that he has presided over since 2000.

Demoiselle De Couhins

AOP PESSAC-LEOGNAN

Château Couhins (“Confins” or “Border” in old Gascon) takes its name from its geographical position on the border of the old Comté d’Ornon, marked by a stream called the Eau Blanche. Until the seventeenth century the château of Couhins and Carbonnieux were part of the same estate. Their wine-production probably dates back to ancient times, like many of the large vineyards on the edge of the city of Bordeaux. Today, Couhins has twenty-five hectares of vines and employs production techniques based on a combination of traditions and the results of Inra’s research at the property. Marketed within Inra’s extensive network for 25 years. Demoiselles de Couhins enjoys the same quality efforts as the Grand Cru Classé de Graves, both in the vineyard and in the winery. It is therefore only at the time of blending that it takes shape, thanks to the selection of lots to express their fruity and greedy characters in the first ten years.
