Château Cantin

AOP SAINT-EMILION GRAND CRU

Situated to the east of the hillock of Saint-Émilion, the property includes a beautiful Château with buildings set out around a central courtyard which were built by Benedictine monks from the 17th century onwards. These served as the farm and the Monastery for the religious order and were also used as a summer residence by the Canons of Saint-Émilion. The Château’s location owes nothing to chance, for the congregation decided to build it as close as possible to a stream, the Cantin (from the Latin Cantio meaning chant or song).

Since the 2009 vintage, Château Cantin benefits from the expertise of the famous oenologist Michel Rolland and his team.
